Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe de Cebu

The Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe de Cebu, located in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, is one of the most visited Marian shrines in Cebu and a beloved center of Catholic devotion. Commonly called the Guadalupe Shrine, Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, or Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, it reflects the deep devotion of Filipino Catholics to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The shrine was established in the early 1970s under the leadership of then-Archbishop of Cebu Julio Cardinal Rosales, with a large statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe, inspired by the revered image from Mexico, serving as a centerpiece of the church. Devotion becomes especially vibrant for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe every December 12, when the faithful gather to honor the shrine's patroness. Pilgrims and visitors can check the schedule of Mass in Guadalupe Church and the latest Guadalupe mass schedule when planning their visit. Today, the shrine remains an important destination for prayer, worship, and Marian devotion in Cebu City.
