Blessed on the 31 January 2005, the Chapel of Saint John Bosco serves as the heart of Saint Louis School of Don Bosco, a Catholic basic educational institution administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco. A school chapel which pioneers a more modern form among Dumaguete's Catholic Churches, it exhibits a "cathedral-like feeling" as it stands at 24 meters with a 45-degree angled axis. This is the pioneering chapel of Architect Ned Carlos which was originally designed to be a distinct place of worship that stands at the heart of the Salesian Educative Pastoral Community's life.
