Bacolod City in Negros Occidental, popularly called as the “City of Smiles” is the home of more than half a million friendly and fun-loving Bacolodnons; and is next only to Cebu City in terms of population size in the Visayas. The city is well-known for the MassKara Festival, chicken inasal, piaya, and football, but also prides with their beautiful churches and shrines like the San Sebastian Cathedral, Sacred Heart Seminary and Shrine, and Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help to name a few.
